“What we have done for ourselves alone, dies with us; what we have done for others and the world, remains and is immortal.” – Albert Pike
Through my sister, Ryan’s Aunt Tracy, I discovered the memories of those we touch or positively impact in some way is what matters most. I discovered that making a difference in the life of another is the real calculus of happiness and the truest measure of a life well-lived. Tracy lived a life that mattered. Tracy inspired me to help others so that my life might matter.
The Aunt Tracy scholarship was created to promote the importance of helping others. Each year the Aunt Tracy scholarship will make a donation to the fundraising efforts of a rider in JDRF’s Ride to Cure program.
